I recently listened to an interview with Rose Marcario, an inspired leader and former CEO of Patagonia. When asked to offer a blessing to participants in an Inner MBA program she said:
“Ask questions that are so big that only your life can answer them.”
I loved this wise advice, and its potential as a catalyst for deep, meaningful change.
When you ask questions only your life can answer, it speaks directly to your soul’s uniqueness, true nature, gifts, talents, and purpose.
In the photo above my creative spirit and I are communing with the Great Spirit—tuning in, and turning on to higher frequencies. Basking in the wonder-filled and intuitive energy of water, I am simply having a heart-to-heart with my own heart.
Why?
Well, why not? Remote beaches, soft surf, and a lot of pure nothingness are glorious spaces to ask and listen to what life is calling to us and through us.
I’ve discovered, if you listen closely, especially to your heart, life can reveal new experiences, genius connections, and an open path to just what you are seeking.
Earlier this year, my “big question” was: “What could I create next that would be the most fun and fulfilling for my life, true to my nature, skills, and passions, and be of service to others?”
Here’s what my heart and inner guidance had to say.
“It’s time to leap… to dive off the edge of what you have known, to move from one level of known reality to another. And to live and lead from that space.”
Alas, I listened. I acted. And “Soul Magic Adventures” were created—my personally curated, guided tours to Africa and beyond.
My vision for these boutique adventures is to offer the opportunity and experience to embrace the unknown with a sense of freedom rather than fear, through amazing journeys of the earth—and of the spirit.
In short, to offer bespoke travel experiences as a way to move from the familiar to the unknown—to leap from one level of reality to another—while listening to your own heart, truth, and genius within.
