“The most authentic way of knowing comes from the heart.”

– Sonia Choquette

Wow. I’m just back from a month in Pula, Croatia and hanging out with a tribe of about 1,300 happy souls that followed their heart to Mindvalley University. It was an extraordinary global, educational event of more than 400 seminars, workshops, and sessions from some of the world’s best transformational teachers—both well-known and relatively unknown.

As magnificent as the life-long learning was, for me, the life-long connections had an equally powerful impact.

With an overwhelming four-week schedule of AMAZING people to see and places to be, I set clear intentions for my month-long adventure at Mindvalley U, including this one that I wrote in my journal:

“To meet the people I am meant to connect with as ‘divine appointments’ so I may serve their highest good, my own highest good, and that of the collective. A win-win-win for humanity.”

Well, the Universe (and my own intuitive guidance) set up some truly magical meetings that happened in spontaneous (yet far from random) ways.

One of my first ‘divine appointments’ was with Paula (pictured above at the opening party at a Roman Ampitheatre), a brilliant marketing consultant who lives in Dubai.

In a casual conversation we discovered we each held a core value of “Believing in Possibility.” When I told her I wrote a book called “Creating the Impossible” we became instant friends; and I gave her a copy, which she read while in Croatia. We spent much of the month going to workshops, lunches, dinners, and parties together and introducing each other to mutual friends. I also received an invitation to visit her, and another new friend and deep connection, in Dubai. I’ve already accepted.

And the divine alignments don’t stop there. In addition to the two incredible women from Dubai, I met a real estate investor from Qatar, who was so inspired by my life story is also reading my book, and is interested in possibly collaborating in some way in the future. Oh, and I have an invitation to Qatar, too.

In another date with destiny, I’ve been invited to be interviewed about “Creating the Impossible” on a podcast by a bright young entrepreneur in Vienna.

So how might you create some of your own ‘divine appointments?’

None of these meaningful meetings (and I’ve only named a few) were pre-arranged or scheduled, except perhaps by some sort of cosmic coordinator.

I simply followed my heart, inner nudges and feelings, to go where I was “called,” whether it was a workshop, a café, a table at a restaurant, or starting a conversation with a stranger at a dance party.

In my experience, the right people show up for you at the right time when you connect to your heart and ALLOW it to lead.

Your heart knows things your mind cannot explain (or plan). Your higher self sees the bigger picture of your intention and then begins drawing to you the opportunities, interactions, and people that might assist you, as well as those who will benefit from knowing YOU.

Boom. It’s a cosmic date.

After setting a clear intention your job is to:

  1. Show up for the appointment. (Listen to your feelings and ACT on them.)
  2. ALLOW events, ideas, and other synergies to unfold naturally, without your interference.
  3. Witness the magic and write it down. The more you do, the more you will amplify your ability to co-create with ease, grace, and power.
