Never underestimate this power

On the heels of the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the “power of love” has been at the forefront of global news, friendly discussions, and Saturday Night Live skits.

But for me this global celebration of love represented so much more.

Never underestimate the power of love to create miracles.

Yes, the royal wedding ushered in a new era in the British monarchy, but at the same time it created a seismic shift in the worldview of what’s possible.

And as romantic, glamorous, and unconventional as this wedding was, the sermon by Rev. Bishop Michael Curry was the real showstopper.

In his rousing, gospel-inspired speech, Rev. Curry said:

“There’s power in love. Don’t underestimate it. Don’t even over sentimentalize it. There’s power, power in love… Power to change the world.”

Amen, Rev. Curry. “Don’t underestimate it. Don’t over sentimentalize it.”

So many think of “love” as some weak, airy, Disney-movie concept that holds little or no real power.

Love IS one of the most powerful, measurable forces in the Universe—an energy not just a romantic notion—in creating a new reality.

The black preacher from Chicago set the record straight on that, as he also spoke of the redemptive power of love, quoting the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, and making references to the songs slaves sang to get through their captivity.

All of this delivered in front of British royalty and aristocracy in a country that once sanctioned slavery, and broadcast to global audience of mega-millions (some say 2 billion) of all races, religions, social, political, and economic status.

Imagine the power of that change in perspective!

The Universe works in mysterious ways. I believe higher forces aligned to bring Prince Harry and Megan Markle together for the world to witness this extraordinary example of the redemptive, creative, and miraculous power of love to shift beliefs, institutions, and nations.

As science now shows us the heart has its own intelligence, electromagnetic field, and creative energy.

Rev. Curry compared this energy to discovering the power of fire that has enabled human survival, industry, and incredible advances in technology.

“If humanity ever captures the energy of love, it will be the second time in history that we have discovered fire,” he said. “And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world.”

Tapping into the energy of your heart and directing that power of love is the bridge to creating anything. This is science not philosophy.

Where you place the attention, emotion, and power in your consciousness is what will manifest in your life.

Rather than simply “imagine a world where love is the way,” as Rev. Curry said, why not create a world where love is the way?

By opening your heart, you are open to receive new ideas, insights, synchronistic meetings and events that ultimately bring your ‘dreams’ into reality.

Your heart knows things your mind cannot explain.

Love knows things the world cannot explain.

Not unlike the marriage of a British prince to a divorced, biracial, American actress, it only seems impossible until it’s done.

What “impossible dream” could the power of love help you create?
